We hire college interns each summer for a paid, 10-week internship from June to August (dates TBD each year), with flexibility to extend the internship into the Fall semester depending upon the department’s need.
While each of our internships are different and vary based on department and location, our program has components that are tailored for the intern’s experience and professional development, including a nationwide weekly speaker series with industry experts, client visits, team project & presentation, off site field trips, etc.

Requirements: Applicants must be enrolled in either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at an accredited institution of higher education.

“I had the privilege of working in the Digital Ad Ops department as an intern during the summer before my senior year in college. The internship allowed me to experience real-time marketing in the digital realm, while also learning from industry professionals who differ in experience across the spectrum of the marketing industry. Once I graduated from college, I was extended a full-time job offer and it has been an awesome experience to continue learning about the evolving industry.”
Ryan, Marketing degree from University of Colorado-Denver
Digital Account Coordinator & former intern – Digital Advertising Operations Dept in Denver
“Overall, I had an incredible experience at NCM. I had the ability to work in-depth with several Account Directors. During my summer as a sales intern, I got to experience all the different stages of campaigns with major accounts, from the early stages all the way to the post-analysis as the campaign came to an end. In addition, I met some other great interns that enhanced my overall experience.”
Nancy, Marketing major at Baruch College
Intern – National Advertising & Sales Dept in New York
“It was a very good experience working at NCM. I loved the work culture and the products the team works on. I felt fortunate to get experience in this industry. The tasks assigned helped me explore my abilities. It was a journey full of knowledge and a fun environment. I felt my supervisor was amazing and she gave me a balanced work as she knew I was handling the tasks for the first time. She also took into consideration my college hours as I worked part time and gave me a quite flexible schedule. [What I liked best is that] I got to work with talented and passionate people.”
Manali, graduate student in Information Technology, California Lutheran
Intern – Digital Products Dept in Los Angeles
“[My supervisor] allowed me to contribute to so many brainstorms. She truly allowed me to enter her world of day to day marketing and I will truly forever be grateful. I was able to contribute my ideas, work on decks that were being sent out to big clients, and place elements on the slides that felt more like me, such as gifs. I can, definitely, say [my supervisor] allowed me to feel part of the actual marketing team than just an intern for 10 weeks.”
